When booking an appointment, please let the receptionist know if you require a double appointment. If you are unsure how long you will need, please discuss with the receptionist who will be able to help. Examples of double appointments include: pap smears, skin biopsy, new patients with a long medical history.
Whilst we make every effort to fit you in with your preferred Doctor, there are times when unfortunately this won't be possible. However, you will always be offered the option of seeing another Doctor. Emergencies will always be given priority.
Please note, weekend appointments are not available for procedures, vaccinations or pap smears.

Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, Eftpos, Mastercard or Visa. Our standard consultation fee is $70 and an extended consultation fee is $100. Full lists of billing fees are displayed in our waiting room.
All our doctors at Total Health Medical Centre and Total Health Medical Centre will bulk-bill patients who hold a current pension card, Health Care Card, or Commonwealth Seniors Card, and patients under the age of 16. However, please note, there is no bulk-billing offered on Saturday meaning all patients will be expected to pay the consultation fee regardless of concessions or age.
Please note: if you have an appointment at Total Health at Capricorn Coast (Hoskyn Drive) and have a valid Medicare card, you will be bulk-billed regardless of age or if you have a concession card. If you do not have a valid Medicare card, you will be charged a fee for the consult.
If you would like a bulk-billed appointment and you do not have a concession card, it is important to advise the receptionist of this when booking your appointment. This way they can ensure you are booked into an appointment at our bulk-billing practice: Total Health at Capricorn Coast.
Total Health Medical Centre provides 24-hour care for patients working on a roster system shared with GPs from this practice.
If you need after-hours care, please call 0407289245 and you will be directed to an After-Hours number.
Please note, after hour call outs will incur a fee of $200.
Home visits are available for regular patients of Total Health Medical Centre, whose condition prevents them from attending the practice. Your Doctor will advise if a home visit is within their area, or if the patient should attend hospital.
Saturday - 9am onwards

Sunday - 9am onwards

Emergency appointments. Walk-ins welcome. If you usually see another doctor at a different practice, we will happily send your records to your regular GP if you wish on the conclusion of your Sunday appointment.
Fees: bulk billed (valid Medicare card essential).
We are open most public holidays with the same hours and location as Sunday appointments. Please call us on (07) 4913 3190 to confirm.
Please note, the doctors work on a roster so it is not always possible to see your usual doctor if you attend a weekend appointment. Although we can advise you in advance who is working on a particular weekend, there are times when the doctor working might change due to personal reasons. In this situation, your appointment will be automatically switched over to whichever doctor is on.
